German engineering has produced the SensoGlove ($89) that prevents golfers from gripping their clubs too tightly, which, according to many PGA professionals, is one of the main causes of bad golf shots. Sensors in the fingers alert a small, removeable computer when you have your club in a death grip, resulting in a loud beep telling you to ease up. The computer also shows you how tightly you're gripping the club and can be adjusted to fit your personal preferences. It's a bit too chilly here to use the SensoGlove out on the course, but we were able to put it through its paces on the practice range. The result? After several annoying beeps and boops, we were able to find the right grip, which resulted in straighter, if not longer, shots.
